The use of technology as an instuctional tool can be overwhelming... Often times, we get so caught up in the hardware (it can be pretty cool stuff) that we forget why we are using it!
I have posted a comment to the current blog. We currently use a more secure site for elementary students. Blackboard allows us to control who is enrolled and who can see comments.
Triand.com sounds very interesting as we are asking teachers to show more and more data dealing with the yearlong intervention for students who are struggling in certain subjects.
Our school's ITRT (Instructional Technology Resource Teacher) does a great job of working with teachers and kids on these kinds of technology initiatives.

This could be an excellent tool for education.
This is wonderful!
I can use the survey sites for many of the things I do. I plan to use the survey sites for students, teachers as well as parents.
